The Multihull Racing Foundation's mission is to raise the level of excellence among amateur American sailors, particularly multihull sailors, with the ultimate goal of preparing them to compete in national and international competitions. The foundation has found that there is a gap in the funding needed to assist American athletes in the field of multihull sailing to allow them to train, compete and win in national and international competitions. To fill this gap, the Foundation provides funds for private coaching, equipment, travel, and entrance fees to assist in training athletes who have shown the ability and experience to compete in multihull sailing on a national and international level. The Multihull Racing Foundation has found that, in the past most multihull sailing competitions have been in Europe. We are proud to support Riptide Racing team in the M32 Pre-Worlds and World Championships currently being raced in Chicago 2018 and one goal of this organization is to bring more training opportunities and competition to the United States.
